Van Marcke optimizes its flux of goods
Being an international distribution chain of sanitary fittings, bathroom fixtures, central heating and water treatment, Van Marcke strives for the best price/quality ratio for their products.
Within the scope of this strategy, this belgian group appealed to the services of De Putter & Co for the assessment of its logistics and transport processes in order to increase productivity and reduce damages.
Based on this orientating research, the current procedures, working methods and tools were analyzed and confronted with Best Practices, based on the broad experience and know-how of our consultants. Finally, all conclusions, quick wins and other improvement opportunities were presented in detail to and discussed with the top management of the organization.
Meanwhile, it has shown that the report has been introduced in the organization and that the first structural solutions have been implemented.
