Markelbach & Corne N.V. was founded in 1901 and has grown to a leading import company for raw materials intended for the food sector. The company has an annual turnover of ca. 30 million euro’s with a wide range of food products such as canned fruit and vegetables, nuts, dried fruit, marzipan and chocolate products. Markelbach & Corne addresses itself mostly to wholesale trades and traders and is supplier to several branches of the food industry. They focus attention on service and quality.

In order to continually guarantee a superior service, the company appealed to the expertise of De Putter & Co to find an Operations Manager Transport & Logistics. Walter Delannoye – with a broad experience in transport and logistics – will manage all transport and logistics activities from an operational point of view.
