Europa Belgium obtains ISO 9001 certificate
Europa Belgium is a renowned transport company, which mainly organizes groupage transport in the Benelux countries. They are also part of an international network for transport to and from France, the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy and Eastern Europe.
Until 2011, the company was part of the Mory Group and that same year they were taken over by an investment company. The new shareholders were convinced of the importance of a streamlined organization focused on a high quality service. In this context, they appealed to the expertise of the consultants of De Putter & Co for the set up of a quality management system and for obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate. By means of an operational audit of all relevant departments, existing procedures were registered and improvement opportunities were identified. Then, uniform procedures, manuals and work instructions were set up and implemented, together with the realization of a KPI dashboard and a thorough follow-up of non-conformities, law & regulations, suppliers and subcontractors.
