METALON embeds quality logistics services
Metalon expanded its industrial services with warehousing and logistics solutions, mainly for the chemical and petrochemical sector.
To this end, it has a 'state of the art' hub that was recently expanded to 38,000 m² of warehouse space and adjoining offices, centrally located between the ports of Antwerp and Ghent. Recently, the organisation decided to set up a management system according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. In close cooperation with the consultants of De Putter & Co, this also added an important strategic component to the business management system: implementation of risk-based thinking with attention to the most important core processes, the interaction with the environment in general and with customers in particular. In addition, a framework has been created to strive for continuous improvement to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
