Pfizer - Transport Vendor Management
The Pfizer European Logistics Center in Zaventem is Pfizer’s second largest distribution center worldwide. It’s the platform for their worldwide distribution of medicines for humans and animals.
For its global distribution activities over land, air and sea, this biopharmaceutical company works together with major logistics providers. Therefore, the coordination and logistical organisation require a well thought-out Transport Vendor Management. Pfizer ELC appealed to the many years of experience in transport and distribution of De Putter & Co to screen the processes of the Transportation Department and to further optimise the Vendor Management. These results were successfully implemented during the roll-out of the new transport tender. Customer: Pfizer www.pfizer.com Published 2011
